OUR STORY

From the Founder

Born From Discomfort. Made For Confidence.

It started over lasagne...

It was your typical dinner party – kids running wild, a few wines and parents bonding over complaints about all that fucking washing. Then a bloke at the table pipes up about the "snail trails" in his wife's undies. Yep. He said it. Confidently.

I did what many of us do – laughed awkwardly, blushed, and secretly felt gross. Like maybe it was a bit shameful to have discharge in your knickers.

But later I thought – wait. Fuck that.

This isn’t a me problem. It’s a design problem. Our undies weren’t made with our actual bodies in mind. And instead of making better undies, the world has continued to make women feel embarrassed.

I decided to do something about it...

So, Luckies Knickers™ was born. I went full ADHD hyperfixation mode – and let me tell you, that rabbit hole was deep (and also very weird at times - google discharge stains. DARE YA).

My big idea? Undies with a patterned gusset to hide discharge stains (because we deserve better than plain white shame). I decided to tackle moisture and scent too. I kinow I'm not the only one who's taken off her jeans at the end of the day and thought "Can anyone else smell that?" So I added merino – nature’s little miracle fibre – into the gusset to soak up all that glorious juice.

And since pockets are a way of life, I included a flat, functional spot for your tampon, a credit card, or whatever secret shit you need to stash.

After two years and a bucketload of failed designs, swearing, and trying again – Luckies Knickers™ launched. Built for women who want one less thing to deal with. Designed for real life – yours and mine.

I’m a colour-lover with the attention span of a toddler, so every release is a fresh clash of colour and pattern that brings a bit of joy to your undie drawer.

Inclusion isn’t optional – it’s the bare minimum. I’ve seen how tough the path can be for some of my trans friends, so I created a style for trans women who are pre-op or not wanting to change the body they were born in.

Trans women are women – and deserve a seat at the table (and a bloody good pair of undies to sit in).

Tucking support is on my future plans – this is just the beginning.

I didn’t stop until I nailed each fit (much to my bank balance’s dismay). They’re comfy, confidence-boosting, and quietly brilliant.

I hope you bloody love them.

Who's running this ship?

Hi, I’m Bek – self-proclaimed dork, lover of dress-up parties, art, cocktails, records and literally all the foods. I’m 43 and a fulltime working mum to two neurospicy little legends like me. They crack me up, test my patience daily and teach me things I probably should’ve learned decades ago.

I value honesty, creativity, friendship – and the kind of belly laughs that make you snort (guilty!). I’m also married to a bloke I won in a bet when I was 19. True story.

(He’s still around. Must be the snacks.)

I’m a big believer in backing yourself – and doing shit that scares you. Clearly...

I live on the south coast of NSW and there you’ll find me swimming in the ocean, chatting over coffee and hosting kitchen dance parties.

I've run the City to Surf in a pair of Luckies! THREE TIMES! It takes some serious flaps to do that let me tell you - and I get some really weird looks at the pub afterwards.

I’m cheeky, loving and fiercely loyal. I’m proud of who I am, what I stand for and the mark I'm making on women’s confidence.

One day, I want to work on Luckies fulltime. The juggle is real.

It's great to have you here.

Bek xx
